In Pakistan, by law, blasphemy is punishable by death. The blasphemy law is a toy given by the powerful to the brain washed crowds. It is a tool of domination. On March 7th, 2013 in Lahore, in the Joseph colony, Mr Sawan Masih was caught in a fight and accused by two Muslim men of blasphemy to instigate the looting and torching of all of the houses belonging to almost 4000 Christian residents. The police asked the Christians to leave their houses in order to save their lives. Meanwhile all their valuables were stolen and their houses set on fire. Industrial chemicals were used by the mob and melted all ceiling fans and metal objects that caught splashes of it. The hoard of small-scale metal scrap re-rolling industries surrounding the colony had been trying to buy out Joseph colony since the last 20 years. This was one of their major attempts to make the Christian residents flee. These pictures have been taken the morning when, after a life long of hard work and discrimination, after a night of fear and despair, the residents of the Joseph Colony were discovering the devastation committed.
